A Somatic Attunement & Nervous System Connection Experience
Less Tension. More Movement. Deeper Connection.
An intimate day exploring the relationship between the human and equine nervous systems. Attend a clinic, or ask the farm where you board to bring Natalie Daniel to your community.
Through somatic awareness, movement, nervous system education and guided horse and human experiences, we create space to notice the subtle patterns occurring within ourselves, within the horse and in the space between us.
For equestrians, barn owners and equine professionals, this is an invitation to something beyond another riding or training clinic: a spacious day of presence, curiosity and relational learning, held where your community already gathers.

One participant at a time enters a guided somatic exploration in the presence of a horse while the surrounding group observes and learns.
Together, we begin noticing subtle shifts in:
Participants have an opportunity to experience regulation, witness it unfolding in others and discover how small changes in awareness can influence an interaction.
The possibility of experiencing a new response where an old pattern once existed.
Every person’s experience will be unique. Some may notice a physical change. Others may leave with an awareness that continues to develop long after the clinic has ended. Specific outcomes are not guaranteed.
Subject to advance arrangement with the hosting farm.
Subject to availability and suitability for the clinic.
Observation, reflection and somatic learning are meaningful parts of the experience. Direct horse participation is not required.
No previous horse experience is required. All horse and human experiences are guided and ground based. There is no riding.
A gentle rhythm of learning, individual exploration and shared reflection, from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
The proposed day’s flow is discussed with each hosting farm before the clinic is confirmed.
9:00 AM
Meet the group, settle into the environment and establish intentions. We introduce consent, confidentiality, personal choice and respect for both human and equine boundaries.
9:30 AM
Guided body scanning, somatic awareness and gentle movement. Learn about nervous system states and begin recognizing patterns of tension, activation and settling.
10:15 AM
Individual facilitated sessions begin. One participant works at a time while the group observes subtle communication and changes occurring within both horse and human.
12:00 PM
Time to eat, rest and allow the morning’s experiences to settle.
12:30 PM
Individual sessions continue as we explore familiar patterns, movement, boundaries, tension, communication and opportunities for new responses.
2:30 PM
Return to the group to notice what has changed, what has been learned and what participants may wish to carry forward.
3:00 PM
Leave with space to reflect and integrate.
Beyond the possibility of less tension and greater physical ease, the day offers a deeper understanding of the body, increased awareness of equine communication and practical techniques for supporting nervous system regulation.
Participants may begin seeing familiar interactions from an entirely different perspective.
A breath we didn’t realize we were holding.
A shoulder that no longer needs to brace.
A horse communicating something we hadn’t previously noticed.
A moment when we realize we have a choice to respond differently.

You don’t need to know exactly what you want to work on.
You don’t need to make the horse respond in a particular way.
You don’t need to accomplish a task.
Simply arrive with curiosity.

Somatic Tones brings together nervous system awareness, somatic exploration and relational attunement to help individuals become more aware of what their bodies communicate and how those patterns influence connection.
This clinic is an educational and experiential wellness offering, not a group psychotherapy session, horse training clinic or substitute for medical or veterinary care.
Wellness Services are separate from Somatic Tones Clinical Services. They are not presented as social service work, psychotherapy, medical care, veterinary care, diagnosis, treatment, or services eligible for Social Work or Psychotherapy benefit reimbursement.
Invite Natalie to facilitate a small group experience in a setting your community already knows and trusts.
Not the owner? Ask the barn where you board to inquire. A clinic often begins with one rider asking.
Share your farm location, preferred dates and the community you would like to invite.
Discuss the setting, suitable horses, participant options, access needs, safety arrangements and the rhythm of the day with Natalie.
Agree on the date, facilitation fee, responsibilities and registration arrangements before inviting participants.
Dates, locations and investment are arranged individually with the hosting farm. The group is limited to 13 participants to allow space for individualized experiential facilitation within the group. Horse participation arrangements are discussed in advance.
Tell Natalie a little about your farm or facility and the people you hope to bring together. We’ll begin with a conversation, not a commitment.
Interested in attending rather than hosting? Contact Natalie to ask about upcoming clinic dates and where The Space Between Us will be held next.
When we create space to listen to the body, we create space for connection to unfold.
Less Tension. More Movement. Deeper Connection.
