Parent and child walking a quiet pathway

If you see your family here, you are in the right place.

You are not the only parent lying awake at night wondering what happened to the relationship you once had with your child.

Maybe your teen is defiant, refuses to follow the rules of the home, or is not coming home at curfew. Maybe your child has been suspended, is at risk of being kicked out of school, or feels misunderstood by teachers, family, and professionals. Maybe you and your partner are parenting from different pages, and the tension in your home is becoming unbearable.

Attuned Walk is a specialized clinical family support space for caregivers navigating tough family dynamics, parent teen conflict, school stress, and complex mental health systems. It is informed by Attachment Based Family Therapy, including the work of Suzanne Levy, and designed to help families reconnect even when it feels like everything is falling apart.

You do not have to fix this alone. I walk alongside parents as they decode confusing behaviours, prepare for difficult school or clinical meetings, understand reports and assessments, and build practical strategies that actually fit their family.

Approach

A relational approach rooted in Attachment Based Family Therapy.

My approach is informed by both professional training and lived experience. I grew up in a blended family and later walked the path of fostering children myself, so I understand how complicated family systems can feel from the inside.

Professionally, I draw from Attachment Based Family Therapy, including the model developed by Suzanne Levy, alongside Circle of Security Parenting, Trust Based Relational Intervention principles, trauma informed care, somatic awareness, and family centred support.

Attachment Based Family Therapy helps families repair ruptures, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection even after conflict, distance, or crisis. Together, we can move away from power struggles and toward a home environment where your child feels safer, more understood, and more connected to you.

You will learn ways to anchor your own nervous system, respond rather than react, and become a steadier, more attuned presence for your child, even in difficult moments.
